SCHOOL FEATURES
The Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) offered at StarShine Blue School is designed to provide a holistic and learner-centred education. It focuses on the development of competencies and skills across various academic stages. Here’s a brief description of the CBC curriculum at each academic stage:
At StarShine Blue School, the school lunch programme is designed to cater to the diverse dietary needs of students while maintaining a focus on nutrition, variety, and inclusivity. The school provides four meals during the school day: Tea break, lunch, evening tea and nap tea for the learners in Kindergarten. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared to offer a diverse range of nutrients, contributing to the students’ overall well-being. We place a strong emphasis on providing well-balanced meals to promote the overall health and development of students. The menu includes a combination of carbohydrates, proteins, fruits, and vegetables to meet nutritional standards and support the energy requirements of growing children. Special diet options are available for those with specific allergies, intolerance, or other dietary restrictions. The school recognizes and accommodates students with special dietary needs. These special meals may be offered at an additional cost to ensure that individual dietary requirements are met.
WORD FROM OUR CATERING DEPARTMENT
The school buses run to and from the school. The service is a practical choice for students living in and around the Kiambu areas and its environs which is offered at a fair additional cost which is curated based on the various zones. The school bus programme is supervised, dependable and safe transportation provided for children. The school bus schedule may vary in response to demand.

ENROLLMENT
Steps done with heart, soul, mind & strength
Contact
Prospective students and their families can initiate the enrollment process by contacting the school’s admissions office. This can be done via phone, email, or by scheduling an in-person visit. The admissions office provides essential information about the school’s academic programs, extracurricular activities, and enrollment procedures.
Application
Once interested, families complete the school’s application form, which typically includes personal details, academic records, and parent/guardian information. Supporting documents like transcripts, standardized test scores, and letters of recommendation may also be required.
Interview
Some schools conduct interviews with prospective students or their parents to assess their fit with the school’s culture and values. These interviews provide an opportunity for both the school and the family to ask questions and gain a better understanding of each other.
Admission
After reviewing applications and, if applicable, conducting interviews, the admissions committee makes decisions on student admission. Successful applicants receive formal notification of acceptance, along with instructions for enrollment procedures, including tuition and fee payments, and necessary documentation.
