Lower Primary School consists of children in grades 1-3 who thrive in an endearing environment designed to strengthen their natural curiosity and joy of learning. Here at Starshine Blue School, we build a close-knit community of peers who become collaborators and friends. The lower grade combines academic robustness with a nurturing and supportive environment.
Our weekly activities include well-planned and executed lessons where every learner fully engages. The activities are age-based and are carefully selected to suit every learner’s needs. Our students have take-home activities where the parents also render their support. Our assessment methods are child-friendly and in line with Kenya National Examination Council guidelines. We boast a team of highly experienced teachers that has consistently produced excellent results. The school focuses on the values and skills needed in the 21st century. Every week we have value talks and lessons that enable our children to find their identity, meaning, and purpose in life. A formation class also comes in handy as we elevate and form our learners’ young lives.
Our extracurricular activities are well-designed to fit our ever-growing learners. Thursday is our games day where we engage our little ones to learn skills in games such as Football, basketball, indoor games, and athletics. This helps them build new confidence and find solutions to problems. The school boasts of well-crafted swimming lessons offered by well-trained swimming instructors. We have well-organised field trips for our learners every term to support what they learn in class. Through our pastoral system,m we develop excellent relationships between our learners and our staff members. We train our youngsters to be good leaders and balance leadership and school work. Our student council body represents pupils’ views and ideas to the administration thus helping in improving our school. UPPER PRIMARY SCHOOL

This is the first half of the middle-year program. The levels run from grade 4 all the way to grade 6. Here, we equip our learners with knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to handle and find solutions to life challenges at their level. Being a discovery and inquisitive stage for learners, we have equipped our teachers and staff with the relevant 21st-century skills to bring out the best in our learners.
With a team of dedicated and experienced educators, Starshine Blue School employs innovative teaching methodologies and a comprehensive curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education to ensure that each student receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for the future.
In readiness for the KNEC assessments and KPSEA at the end of grade 6, our academic team is up to the task and always works ahead of schedule to make our learners ready and fit for the course.
Our learners also take part actively in music, football, basketball, kabaddi, art, home science, tennis, badminton, and swimming. The school’s supportive and inclusive environment fosters a sense of belonging and encourages students to become active, compassionate, and socially responsible individuals who can make positive contributions to society.
